WiFi App Connection IssuesUpdated a year ago
To connect your unit to the wifi app, please follow the instructions above. Please note that the app WILL NOT WORK WITH 5G NETWORKS. An alternative network must be selected. Also please note that Bluetooth must be enabled.
After setting up the wifi account with the app, you will be prompted to enter your account log in and password. There is a small box at the bottom of the screen that must be ticked to proceed. This is quite small and often missed. Also do not miss ticking the small box confirming the wifi icon is blinking slowly. As you proceed with the app, you will later be asked for your wifi log in and password. Please note that this is not the same as the initial account log in and password. If you are unable to get your control unit to bind after following all of the instructions above, you may need to perform a firmware update on the app. Please see this video for a step by step walkthrough on updating firmware.
If you are still having issues with connectivity, you may have a Fritz wifi router, which has a known binding issue. Check your router to confirm if it is a Fritz model. If so, follow the below attachment for a Fritz router workaround
