Why Is My Filter Icon Flashing?Updated 3 months ago
The filter icon will flash red and green on smart control models as shown above or continuously blink on all frame series top panels when the filter is dirty or needs to be replaced. To clear this, simply press and hold the filter button for 3 seconds.
Please note that this is more of a reminder to clean and replace filters and filters should still be cleaned at least once per week and replaced with new every 4-6 weeks. Do not rely solely on the flashing filter light as the only time filters need to be cleaned and/or replaced.
